Fall Release

In Napa Valley, I think and speak in English – in Bordeaux, French. Fait-Main’s latest release from the ancient limestone plateau of St. Emilion shows off the same diversity of expression between new and old terroirs. Perched almost 90 meters above sea level on timeworn layers of calcareous rock, the Grand Cru Todeschini Asteria Vineyard exudes minerality, tension, and freshness. It demands a different way of thinking… new and old at the same time.

The 2016 vintage on Bordeaux’s Right Bank was sublime. Ideal ripening conditions for Merlot allowed us to create a wine with inky intensity, crushed velvet textures, and a plush ripeness that rides the line between decadence and refinement. The bouquet blends multiple layers of red and blue fruit complemented by chalk minerality which provides the wine it's elegance and amazing length on the palate. This is Grand Cru St. Emilion at its best, and I am thrilled to offer it to you.

Thank you for your continued support of Fait-Main Wines. Please devour this landmark wine… but don’t forget to cellar some for later.
