I am pleased to share two new Cabernet Sauvignons from the exceptional 2024 vintage: the 2024 Fait-Main Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard and the 2024 Fait-Main Tierra Roja Vineyard.
Marked by a return to a more classic growing pattern, Napa Valley’s 2024 season combined ample early rainfall, a warm and steady summer, and a defining early-October heat event that helped shape the vintage’s character. Favorable spring conditions and healthy canopies supported even development throughout the vineyards, while warm days and cool nights preserved freshness and structure in the fruit.
A slightly compressed harvest created distinctive expressions across individual vineyard sites. The resulting wines display classic Napa Valley depth and polish—open, opulent, and expressive, yet anchored by remarkable tannic structure and balance. It is a high-quality vintage defined by both generosity and a distinctly traditional character.
The 2024 Fait-Main Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon reveals blackcurrant, dark cherry, and blackberry layered with violets, graphite, and crushed stone. Full-bodied and commanding, the palate carries remarkable density, framed by sculpted tannins and the vineyard’s signature mineral tension. Powerful yet impeccably composed, it finishes with resonant notes of dark fruit, cocoa, and refined spice.
The 2024 Fait-Main Tierra Roja Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon unfolds with black cherry, cassis, and raspberry, accented by crushed violets, iron, espresso, and dark chocolate. Rich and enveloping, the palate is lifted by vibrant freshness and finely woven, silken tannins. Concentrated yet graceful, it carries its depth effortlessly into a long, seamless, and luxurious finish.
